From the factory, the 996 Turbo was built without a valved exhaust. To satisfy European noise regulations and customer expectations for a comfortable cabin, Porsche toned down the exhaust note—muting the legendary Mezger flat-six engine. The result? Incredible performance, but a sound that falls short of the car’s true potential. 

The  SOUL Valved Exhaust System transforms the car’s sound and performance with a design that balances comfort and aggression. 

With the valves closed a resonated 2-inch secondary flow path routes exhaust through oversized resonators. This reduces volume, cancels drone, and smooths exhaust pulses—delivering a refined, discreet tone perfect for cruising. 

A flip of the switch and you can open the valves. Now the exhaust bypasses restrictions and flows through a full 3-inch primary path, unleashing maximum power and the raw, unmistakable Mezger flat-six sound.

Mandrel bent, durable .065″” T304L stainless steel tubing

Premium SOUL designed 300 cell catalytic converter with custom specced precious metal catalyst coating and triple metal matrix core (Street Option)

Back purged TIG welding (with ARCAL™ Prime argon gas) ensures proper weld penetration for exceptional strength and longevity

Water jet cut brackets are made to ISO 9001:2015 standards with ultra-tight tolerances of +/- 0.003 inches for extreme precision

Fabricated using thick-gauge aluminum fixtures that act as a heat sink during the welding process to prevent any warpage

Every performance exhaust component undergoes rigorous quality control and is fixture-tested to guarantee precise fitment. To ensure your order arrives safely, all parts are carefully foam-packed and protected in transit, so you receive your exhaust system in perfect condition and ready to install. All necessary hardware for installation is included. This system can be configured to work directly with your car’s Homelink buttons.
