The PRL Coolant Expansion Tank kit replaces the factory tank with a more robust aluminum version. Our 6061 aluminum tank will not be effected by temperature and can hold higher pressures so it will out-last the factory tank. Our reservoir also \u003cstrong\u003emore than doubles the tank's coolant capacity\u003c\/strong\u003e to 1.32 quarts \u003cem\u003e(1.25 liters),\u003c\/em\u003e while the stock tank only holds .58 quarts \u003cem\u003e(.55 liters)\u003c\/em\u003e allowing for a greater volume of coolant to carry heat away from the engine internals while maintaining a tidy engine bay.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eOur tank is constructed from 3mm thick aluminum and features internal baffling to prevent coolant sloshing and cavitation.
